Description

Hand-trimmed steaks that feature the premium center of the Ribeye Filet. No excess fat makes these a great value. Available in three sizes so it's easy to find the ribeye filet that's just right for your table. Aged Northwest beef hand-cut by a master butcher.

Pioneering Quality Beef

Wagyu and high-quality cattle were first bred in the late 1980s, and they knew this was something special in its deep flavor and sublime marbling. Snake River Farms and Double D Ranch have been mastering that prized combination ever since. It is more work that takes precision, genetic mastery, and a dedication to unending refinement and innovation. They control the entire supply chain, from the ranches where cattle are raised to the humane processing facility to the in-house customer care team. It would be easy to outsource but being a pioneer does not mean taking the easy way. It means doing work the right way.

Aging Beef

All Snake River Farms and Double D Ranch products are aged to maximize the flavor and texture of our beef. They employ two different methods:

Wet-Aging

A technique where subprimal cuts of beef are vacuum-sealed and allowed to rest in refrigeration for a minimum of 21 days. Natural enzymes tenderize the beef and allow deeper flavors to develop. The product is not exposed to the air, so there is no weight loss. Our products are all wet-aged 21 days or more before they are packaged and shipped.

Dry-Aging

A unique process where beef subprimal is placed in a carefully controlled environment in order to intensify their natural flavor and make them more tender. All products are dry-aged a minimum of 45 days which is the minimum amount of time to enhance the flavor.

How are the animals fed?

Double R Ranch Beef is grass and hay fed on pasture for the first year of their life. They are then fed a sustainable diet of hay, forages, as well as potatoes, vitamins, and minerals.

My Review of Ribeye Filet 8oz.

The product arrived well-packaged and completely frozen. After thawing the meat, I was able to make two large Beef Wellingtons, and still have enough left over for a couple of steaks as well. I used some of the trimmings to make some beef stock as well. The meat itself was tender and flavorful. A fantastic product that I would definitely order again! Get the pictured meat Ribeye Filet 8oz. (Aff), or see all Double R Ranch offerings Double R Ranch. Really nice steaks. Tasty and tender. Some of them are a little odd shaped but cook up great. I pan fried them in butter to seal them and baked them for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. Perfect Medium rare and tender. Highly recommended. I ordered some ribeyes just based on the taste of the first order. You won’t go wrong ordering get this meat. The packaging is extremely professional as well. Thanks for a great meal!

Description

American Wagyu Kobe. These filets are available in limited quantities and maintain the traditional flavor that American palates love combined with the tender, buttery essence of Japanese Wagyu beef. The filet mignon is the number one selling Gold Grade steak for good reason – it is even more buttery textured than our Black Grade filet mignon. This filet is so tender and juicy it can be cut with a butter knife.

(Aff), or see all Snake River Farms American Wagyu Beef offerings Snake River Farms American Wagyu Beef. Really nice steaks. Tasty and tender. Some of them are a little odd-shaped but cook up great. I pan-fried them in butter to seal them and baked them for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. Perfect Medium rare and tender. Highly recommended. I ordered some ribeyes just based on the taste of the first order. Best steak I've ever had, well worth the price…and I qualify that by saying that the price restricts this to a rare-special-occasion-only purchase. I've paid good money at excellent steak houses (including wagyu steak) and this is by far the best. Thanks for a great meal!

Description

American Wagyu Kobe. Aged and cut by a master butcher.

Snake River Farms American Wagyu Beef cattle are grass and hay fed on pasture for the first year of their life. They are then fed a sustainable diet of hay, forages, as well as potatoes, vitamins, and minerals. SRF cattle will never receive any growth agents or growth-promoting hormones.

Description

American Wagyu Kobe. Aged and cut by a master butcher.

Wet-Aging

A technique where sub primal cuts of beef are vacuum-sealed and allowed to rest in refrigeration for a minimum of 21 days. Natural enzymes tenderize the beef and allow deeper flavors to develop. The product is not exposed to the air, so there is no weight loss. Our products are all wet-aged 21 days or more before they are packaged and shipped.

Dry-Aging

A unique process where beef sub primal is placed in a carefully controlled environment in order to intensify their natural flavor and make them more tender. All products are dry-aged a minimum of 45 days which is the minimum amount of time to enhance the flavor.

How are the animals fed?

Snake River Farms American Wagyu Beef cattle are grass and hay fed on pasture for the first year of their life. They are then fed a sustainable diet of hay, forages, as well as potatoes, vitamins, and minerals. SRF cattle will never receive any growth agents or growth-promoting hormones.

My Review of American Wagyu Gold Grade Ribeye Filet – 8oz

The American Wagyu Gold Grade Ribeye Filet arrived well-packaged and completely frozen. These are wonderful and will be a welcome meal when we get together.  The meat itself was tender and flavorful. A fantastic product that I would definitely order again! Get the pictured meat American Wagyu Gold Grade Ribeye Filet – 8oz (Aff), or see all Snake River Farms American Wagyu Beef offerings Snake River Farms American Wagyu Beef. I've paid good money at excellent steak houses and this is by far the best. This was a great meal!
